Workplace Giving
Workplace giving programs provide an easy way for you to contribute to the
fight against neuromuscular diseases. In partnership with Community Health
Charities (CHC), MDA works with companies to make it easy for you to support
our mission by contributing through payroll deduction at work.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) proudly partners with Community Health
Charities, the largest workplace giving program devoted solely to issues of
health. If you don't find MDA in your company's program, please request that
MDA be added or simply designate that your gift be directed to help MDA.
Government Employees/Public Sector
Support MDA through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), which typically runs
from September to December. Governmental employees, including federal, U.S.
military and U.S. Postal Services workers can support MDA by selecting the
designation code number 10561.
Also, be sure to look for MDA on the designation lists for your state, city,
county, or school employee giving campaigns!
Private Sector
Your company may have its own employee gift program or participate in United
Way. If so, you can still help by designating MDA under the Donor Designation
Program. Just write in MDA as your charity of choice.
Employer Matching Gift Fund
If your employer has a matching gift program, be sure to request a matching
gift to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
All gifts made to MDA are tax deductible.
For more information on MDA in your area, please contact your local MDA District
Office, or call 1-800-223-6011.
