Every gift to MDA is special. Gifts facilitated by the Special Gifts & Philanthropy Department through this portion of the MDA website require "special handling," because there are deductibility, legal and contractual issues associated with Bequests, Gift Annuities, Charitable trusts and gifts of securities.

This portion of the MDA website is designed to provide you the information you need to plan and to make your special gift to MDA in a manner that works best for you and MDA too. To your left, is a menu that involves three steps. If you point your mouse to any of the three steps in the menu, an additional drop down menu will appear with many options describing the educational materials available to you as you move through your gift planning process.

If you already have a good idea about what kind of special gift you want to make, then the large "click here" buttons below provide you some shortcuts to some of the information available to you through the "Get Ready, Get Set, Go" drop down menus on the left.

The Special Gifts & Philanthropy team is always ready to provide you personalized assistance at your convenience. To contact us, call 800-223-6011 or e-mail Dr. Rick Brown, V.P. of Special Gifts & Philanthropy at rbrown@mdausa.org. Thank you for considering a gift that requires "special handling." All gifts to MDA help us work towards eradicating muscle-wasting diseases.
